We scream, you'll scream, we'll all scream for Dairy Queen! Media Profile mired in Miracle Treat Mirth.04/21/2009
Media Profile loves ice cream (or in this case soft serve!) and its newest client – Dairy Queen Canada. As DQ Canada's public relations agency of record, Media Profile will conduct creative and compelling campaigns for DQ Canada's Sweet Deals value platform, DQ Grill & Chill restaurant grand openings, new product launches and DQ's annual Children's Miracle Network affiliated charity drive - Miracle Treat Day.
Alison King, President, Media Profile, tried desperately to provide an articulate quote for this release. However, rendered almost unintelligible because she was speaking with a mouth full of her favourite DQ Blizzard* we had to resort to charades, drawing pictures and playing Twister to extract the following:
"We can't wait to combine two of our great passions – eating great treats and consumer PR – into a fun and engaging campaign for DQ Canada. We plan to use traditional and social media tactics to unite Canadians in their love for DQ products."
The Dairy Queen Canada team at Media Profile includes ice cream junkies Alison King, Alanna Banks and Courtney McLeod, with support from Rachel Thexton at the agency's Vancouver office.
*note: Alison's favourite DQ Blizzard flavour is Cappuccino Skor. She regularly promises her children a DQ treat so she can sneak one in herself. It's a cheeky move but at Media Profile we're passionate about our client's business, soft serve and all.
