M&M Food Market partners with Media Profile for Canada’s introduction to ‘Real Food for Real Life’

M&M Food Market today announced that Media Profile will lead strategic public relations and communications programs that will introduce Canadians to the company’s new brand, re-imagined menu and innovative shopping experience.

The selection of Media Profile comes as the latest step in the company’s reinvention as Canada’s destination for balanced meals and food ideas that live up to its promise to offer consumers “real food for real life.”

“Media Profile demonstrated passion for our brand, a deep understanding of our customers and, of course, the skill and experience that will help us meaningfully connect with Canadians,” said Andy O’Brien, CEO, M&M Food Market. “We are an entirely new company with a new name, brand, modernized stores and a health-conscious product line. In addition to an integrated PR program consisting of traditional, experiential and influencer-oriented programs, Media Profile will advise the M&M Food Market leadership team on the development of a corporate social responsibility platform.

Media Profile hires two and promotes seven, including changes to management team

Media Profile, Canada’s largest independent Public Relations firm, has promoted seven employees and added two new members to the team.

With close to 20 years at Media Profile, John Thibodeau has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Chris Wood has been promoted to Vice President. Media Profile also promoted Ashleigh Cartier to Senior Director, Digital Strategy, a new role at the agency.

Thibodeau and Wood bring deep industry experience to Media Profile’s senior management team while Cartier’s new leadership role will focus on further developing the agency’s rapidly growing Creative, Content and Digital practice.

We do things our way and that includes promoting from within,” said Alison King, President of Media Profile. “We’re a flat, no-silo organization with a low staff turnover. Other promotions include Carla Maggiotto and Ginger Shewell to Account Director. Jenna Bruno and Jill Lindsay have been promoted to Consultant. Ranziba Nehrin and Melissa Schaefer have joined Media Profile as Account Coordinators.

Media Profile was named Strategy’s 2016 Gold PR Agency of the Year. In 2016, the agency also added significant new capabilities to its client offering through the creation of a Content, Creative and Digital practice, led by Media Profile’s creative director, Dave Curcio, who is also President of boutique creative firm, Studio 141. New offerings include creative strategy and development, content strategy and development, video concept, creation and editing, photography, infographics, motion graphics, print design, print production, web and app development, search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM).
